What are the responsibilities and job description for the Short Order / Line Cook position at Knotty Pine Diner?

The Knotty Pine Diner has been open and operating since 1956! We are a busy diner / restaurant looking for a short order / line cook with experience and the ability to handle our short order / line cook position on their own during most shifts.
We are currently, mostly in need of afternoon / evening shifts (2 pm to close which is 8 pm). We also may have a few breakfast / lunch shifts available in the near future.
Training can start immediately. The requirements are pretty standard (flat top grill, fryer, plating pre-maid specials, a little prep and portioning from time to time, maintaining and cleaning workspace, etc.) The kitchen is all recently renovated and in great shape.
Multiple shifts are available. Position can be part-time or real close to, if not full-time depending on your availability and what you are looking for. Must be able to work independently as all shifts but Friday Evening and Saturday & Sunday Mornings are solo. Friday Evenings and Saturday & Sunday Mornings we have two cooks in the kitchen.
Must be able to handle busy rushes and stay busy (stocking, cleaning, etc.) during slow periods.
Starting pay will be dependent upon experience.
We have a great staff that are all great to work with and are hoping to find a good addition that is dependable and takes pride in their work.
