We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Conduct welding repairs and fabrications as needed to support equipment and structural integrity.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose problems.
- Assist with residential painting projects or facility beautification efforts to maintain a professional environment.
- Supervise or mentor junior team members or contractors during maintenance activities while ensuring safety compliance.
- Manage emergency repairs promptly to ensure minimal disruption to operations or customer service standards.
- Support manufacturing processes by maintaining production equipment and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, manufacturing environments, or related fields with a strong mechanical background.
- Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical systems.
- Skilled in welding techniques and familiar with residential painting practices is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with electrical troubleshooting using tools such as ohmmeters; familiarity with electrical codes is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge including pumps, motors, appliances and HVAC systems.
- Ability to read technical schematics and interpret complex diagrams accurately.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and vendors.
- Supervising experience or leadership skills that enable effective team coordination and task delegation.
