Bartender

Job Summary:

Knollwood Country Club is a family-oriented members-only club known for its exceptional service, relaxed sophistication, and welcoming community. We are looking for an experienced, personable, and hospitality-driven Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate creates memorable bar experiences through high-quality beverages, attentive service, and genuine member engagement—whether crafting a classic cocktail, recommending a wine pairing, or simply offering a friendly greeting.

This role requires professionalism, discretion, and a sincere passion for hospitality in an environment that serves adults while remaining family-conscious.

Day-to-Day:

• Provide warm, professional, and engaging bar service to members and their guests.

• Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and care.

• Maintain knowledge of classic and contemporary drink recipes, seasonal offerings, and club-specific menus.

• Build rapport with members, learning and remembering individual preferences where appropriate.

• Ensure the bar is always clean, stocked, and well-organized, including glassware, garnishes, and supplies.

• Monitor alcohol service responsibly, in accordance with club policies and applicable laws.

• Handle member questions and requests with grace, professionalism, and discretion.

• Assist with beverage service during events, dinners, and special occasions.

• Collaborate with other front-of-house staff to provide a seamless dining and beverage experience.

• Support a family-friendly atmosphere by being mindful and respectful of children and families in shared spaces.
