Food Service Team Member - JBK Complex

The primary purpose of a Food Service Attendant is to assist guests with their food/drink order, answer questions, run the cash register, and maintain a clean workstation. JBK Complex consists of the following stands: Candy Apply Orchard, Casa de Refrescos, Cookie Nook, Dole Soft Serve, Funnel Cakes, Kandy Korners, Kettle Korn, Mix It Up, Patio Grill, Slush N’ Such, Soft Serve Ice Cream, and Totem Treats. This is a seasonal position, reporting to the JBK Manager.

Park’s operational summer hours are typically Sunday through Tuesday 12pm to 8pm and Wednesday through Saturday 12pm to 9pm. During the parks season, evening and weekend hours are required.

• Prepare food items, if appropriate, prior to orders being taken
• Take food and drink orders
• Serve guest food or drink orders accurately
• Accurately ring up sale in cash register
• Receive correct money or tickets and give correct change
• Stock food and supplies as needed

• Candidate should possess strong communication skills, high degree of integrity, positive attitude, attention to detail and the ability to solve problems
• Candidate should have the ability to build strong relationships with guests, provide a high level of guest service, and be an effective member of a team
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong customer service skills, both internal and external
• Maintain a positive attitude
• Exceptional communication skills while relating to people in a friendly, professional manner
• Self-motivated; acts without needing directions
• Perform cleaning duties as needed to maintain a clean, safe work environment
