Job Overview
Knoch School District is seeking a dependable and motivated individual to join our custodial team. The successful candidate will help ensure that school buildings are maintained to high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of classrooms, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
- Ensure proper sanitation and waste disposal
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of furniture and equipment for school events
- Perform seasonal tasks as needed
- Collaborate with staff to support a safe and functional learning environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior custodial experience (preferred but not required)
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand/walk for extended periods, and perform physical labor
- Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies
- Must obtain necessary clearances, including PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal Background, and FBI Fingerprint clearances.
