Duties
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions among children.
- Assist with daily routines including feeding, diapering, and nap time for younger children.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to play and learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other childcare staff to create a cohesive team atmosphere.
- Stay informed about early childhood education practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, babysitting, or classroom environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of toddler care, infant care, and early childhood education principles is highly desirable.
- Strong behavior management skills to effectively guide children's interactions.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children and parents alike.
- A nurturing demeanor with the ability to respond sensitively to children's needs.
