Responsibilities
- Execute the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process.
- Perform analytical functions related to the general ledger month-end close.
- Utilize financial reporting software to create, maintain, and update reporting templates and data queries.
- Analyze financial statements, costs and equity transactions, prepare financial statements and provide general accounting support.
- Ensure proper accounting treatment for various projects.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly financial statements.
- Identify and research technical accounting and reporting matters, accounting principles and financial reporting rules.
- Assist with explaining to management the financial performance of the projects.
- Compile financial statements and footnote schedule in accordance with annual audits.
- Support audit requests from external auditors and key stakeholders within the organization.
- Ensure reported financial results are completed timely and accurately.
- Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- CPA and/or Master’s in accounting preferred.
- 2 years of experience in public accounting.
- Knowledge of ERP accounting system.
- Public accounting experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including performing financial and analytical computations in Excel.
Salary : $95,000 - $105,000
