Sr Accountant - External Reporting
The impact you can have
- Prepare and review quarterly external financial statements in compliance with US GAAP
- Manage the quarterly and annual financial reporting process, including the coordination of deliverables from other departments
- Prepare, review and tie out supporting schedules for the quarterly financial external statements
- Prepare and review monthly internal financial reports
- Serve as a key liaison for the external auditors quarterly and annual audits
- Assist with the implementation and testing of financial reporting software
- Execute and maintain internal controls over financial reporting
- Assist with the testing of internal controls over financial reporting
You'll bring to the role
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
- 3 years of experience preparing or auditing financial statements and note disclosures, preferably in Big Four or national accounting firm
- Exposure to internal controls over financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong excel skills

- The target salary range for this role is: $75,000 - $85,000*

This position works on-site at least 4 days per week consistent with the needs of the businessat our Talbots office location in Hingham, MA.
