What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director Channel Sales position at Knit?
Knit have partnered with a fast-growing SaaS scale-up that is looking for a Director of Channel Sales. You will be responsible for sourcing, managing, and growing relationships and results with their channel partners. Working closely with their partners to ensure they have the support, resources, and training needed to sell and promote products successfully.
This role will build the function, drive new partner acquisition, and convert existing partners into meaningful revenue channels. The goal is to generate consistent mid–five to six-figure deals through a scalable channel engine.
Having recently secured significant investment, they have big plans for the rest of 2025 and beyond, and we’re excited to be helping them grow the team and looking for ambitious candidates with a proven track record of success.
Compensation (based on experience):
$275,000 - $300,000 OTE (uncapped)
Senior-level package aligned to experience and expected impact.
What you’ll do
- Manage your pipeline, sales activity, and create accurate forecasts to exceed quota
- Manage and grow the network of existing partners, ensuring strong relationships and effective execution of joint sales strategies
- Address partner concerns, provide product knowledge, and offer strategic support to help partners achieve their goals
- Identify and secure new channel partners, particularly MSPs, to expand market reach
- Work closely with partners to generate revenue and achieve sales targets
- Provide ongoing sales enablement, training, and resources
What you bring
- 5 years in a quota-carrying channel sales role selling a SaaS product
- Bachelor’s degree (finance-related degrees especially welcome)
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding goals, with strong individual and team performance
- Excellent communication and presentation skills across in-person, phone, and email interactions
- Ability to shift priorities, work flexibly, coordinate multiple projects, and meet multiple deadlines
