Overview
Position Summary (Purpose of Job):
To support operations and maintain the integrity of inventory.
Shift: 8:30AM-5PM
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (List essential responsibilities and duties)
- Troubleshooting wave issues
- Order processing/ order entry
- Product and Pick Module maintenance including transfer work, location assignment, capacity setup, & zoning
- Adjustments and multi-step changes to inventory attributes within the system
- Inventory status changes
- Understanding the business rules, demands, and expectations of 45 active clients
- Understanding the challenges of operations/distribution
- Understanding units of measure
- Order intercept/cancel requests
- Work order creation
- Cycle count creation and review
- Creating reports and reconciliations
- Destruction projects
- Investigation & resolution of inventory discrepancies
- Daily entry of work performed for billing department
- Daily communication with client representatives via emails, phone calls, and virtual meetings
- Provision of inventory assistance to Knipper’s affiliate, KnippeRx
Qualifications
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Training: High School Diploma
Business Experience: One year of experience in Inventory Control, preferably in a Distribution environment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Computer knowledge
Experience with a WMS (will use multiple)
- Ability to analyze WMS processes
- Ability to extrapolate information from WMS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
