Overview
We are seeking a tech-savvy, detail-oriented part-time Office Coordinator to support Knikatnu, Inc. and its subsidiaries. This role involves providing administrative support to the President of the Board, the Chief Executive Officer, and Controller, as well as managing property-related tasks for KI Holdings, LLC.
Essential Functions and Duties
- Assist the President in preparing for Board Meetings including organizing board packets, sending notifications, and scheduling meetings, both in person and through Zoom calls.
- Attend meetings including for the board and shareholders, record minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Coordinate logistics for the Annual Shareholder Meeting event including sending notices to all members and working with third-party vendors.
- Serve as the primary liaison between potential building tenants or interested parties and the President or Chief Executive Officer.
- Oversee property management tasks including ensuring timely repairs and preparing lease documentation (new tenants, renewals, etc.).
- Ensure timely receipt of payments and send reminders as needed.
- Provide basic computer support, coordinate with website host, and coordinate with the Knik Tribe IT administrator as needed.
- Assist the Controller with accounting functions, such as invoice and check processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and audit preparation.
- Manage petty cash and perform other duties as assigned.

- Proficiency with computers.
- Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks, and manage stressful situations effectively.
- Capacity to maintain confidentiality and develop positive working relationships with members, tenants, and colleagues.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Position Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Teams as well as Zoom and Adobe Acrobat.
- Prior experience with Alaska Village Corporations or Native organizations preferred.
- Skills in social media management is a plus.
