Nightmute Local Housekeeper/ Cook Helper

Knik Construction is seeking a reliable Housekeeper / Cook Helper to assist with cleaning camp facilities and supporting the Cook with food preparation and clean up. This role supports daily camp operations and requires the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
Davis Bacon Wages – Per Contract

Responsibilities:
(Other duties as assigned)

• Clean restrooms, lounge areas, corridors, windows, hallways, and other workspaces while keeping the prescribed health and hygiene standards
• Performs a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal
• Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace them when appropriate
• Assists Cook with food preparation and clean up
• Haul water if needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
• Prioritization and time management skills
• Working quickly without compromising quality
• Pre-hire drug test required
