Role Summary
Knightvest is seeking a motivated and analytically driven Multifamily Asset Manager to help oversee a growing portfolio of multifamily investments following acquisition. This role will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams including property management and construction management to execute business plans and drive asset performance.
As a vertically integrated real estate investment firm, Knightvest provides team members exposure to the operational and execution side of multifamily investing, including asset management, renovations, capital projects, financing, and dispositions. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of relevant experience, strong analytical and operational instincts, and a desire to grow within a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
This position is based in Dallas and requires periodic travel to properties within the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze property financials, operating performance, and market trends to identify risks and value creation opportunities
- Partner with in-house property management and construction teams to execute operational and renovation strategies
- Assist in developing and managing annual business plans, operating budgets, and capital improvement initiatives
- Monitor leasing trends, occupancy, concessions, collections, and expense performance across the portfolio
- Participate in operating and leasing calls with property management teams
- Prepare financial analyses, lender reporting packages, and ad hoc portfolio analyses
- Support onboarding and transition of newly acquired assets into the portfolio
- Assist with refinancing, disposition preparation, and other portfolio-level initiatives
- Conduct property visits and site inspections to evaluate operational performance and asset condition
- Coordinate with equity partners, lenders, consultants, contractors, and third-party partners as needed
- Help drive NOI growth and operational efficiencies across the portfolio
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in multifamily asset management, investment analysis, property operations, or related real estate fields
- Strong financial analysis and Excel modeling skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership
- Ability to travel to properties as needed
Preferred
- Experience working with multifamily properties
- Familiarity with OneSite and RealPage property management platforms preferred
- Exposure to capital projects, budgeting, or business plan execution
- Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and desire to grow within a vertically integrated real estate investment platform
