Duties
- Manage access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to ensure authorized entry.
- Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems and monitor activity within the premises to detect suspicious behavior or security breaches.
- Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents or emergencies, including medical emergencies requiring CPR or first aid.
- Enforce security policies by patrolling the guard house area and surrounding perimeter regularly.
- Maintain detailed logs of all entries, exits, incidents, and observations for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies as needed.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by monitoring activity and preventing theft or vandalism.
Skills
- Proven experience in security operations, law enforcement, military service, or related fields.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and alarm systems.
- Certification in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during medical emergencies.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations calmly and effectively.
- Familiarity with security protocols, loss prevention techniques, and emergency response procedures.
- Ability to operate surveillance equipment and conduct visual inspections confidently.
