We’re looking for Gaming Associates in Chico who excel in fast-paced environments, take pride in professionalism, and know how to create a positive experience for both guests and teammates. What You’ll Do:

  • Monitor and verify live casino games for fairness and accuracy
  • Handle casino chips and game transactions with precision
  • Collaborate with dealers and casino personnel to ensure smooth operations
  • Help foster a respectful, professional, and engaging environment on the floor

Compensation & Growth:

  • Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
  • Late-night differential: Additional $2/hour for hours worked between 12am - 2am
  • Pay Raises: Increase your pay by learning new games, with opportunities for increases roughly every 2 months. Advanced games provide additional opportunities for growth and future pay increases.

Schedules:

  • Position: Gaming Associate
  • Full-time, in-person only (5 days, 8 hours/week.)
  • Open availability and weekend availability are required.
  • Training Schedule: Part-time training. Schedule TBD

What We’re Looking For:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Strong mental math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Reliable and adaptable for the casino's 24/7 operation
  • Ability to pass a lifetime background check, credit check, and drug screen for state licensure
  • Strongly preferred to have background in leadership, management, or team-leading
  • Professional conduct and the ability to manage complex situations with tact are essential for effective collaboration within the fast-paced casino setting.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to sit or stand at a gaming table for 3 to 4 hours at a time
  • Able to use hands and fingers in a dexterous manner (movements include rotating wrists, grabbing, pulling, pushing, pinching, painting, tapping)
  • Able to lift 5–10 pounds for chip management and bank reconciliation (varies by location)
  • Able to see, speak, and hear clearly during gameplay
  • Has necessary vision capabilities: close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception
  • Comfortable with direct communication and giving corrections when needed
  • Able to stay focused and manage stress effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments

Interview Process:

In our interview process, we aim to ensure each person that joins the team is the right fit for Knighted and will provide ample information for you to assess if Knighted is the right fit for you. The process for this role is as follows:

  • Initial Interview - 30 Minutes
  • Virtual One-on-One Interview - 15–30 Minutes
  • In-Person Interview - 15–30 Minutes
  • Orientation - 3–4 Hours
