As we continue to expand our reach, we are looking for a Staff Accountant to help advance our strategic business development goals. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for helping to ensure the accuracy of our financial statements, including, but not limited to, reconciling accounts, performing month-end financial tasks, and assisting with regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will harbor an innate interest in helping to further the success of the accounting team.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains accounting schedules in accordance with applicable standards and company policy
• Prepares and records journal entries during month-end close process
• Performs month-end financial tasks, including the preparation and analysis of account reconciliations
• Partners with department heads to understand and ensure accuracy of all financial reporting activity
• Assists with annual audits, regulatory compliance, and annual budgeting processes, as needed
• Collaborates cross-functionally to ensure proper recording and classification of expenses
• Actively participates in team meetings
• Fosters a cooperative and positive work environment

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic to intermediate Microsoft Suite skills required
• CPA candidate a plus
• Working knowledge of NetSuite a plus, but not required
