Event Security Specialist (F-04 Required) – High-Profile NYC Events

What You'll Do
As an Event Security Specialist, you will:
- Maintain a visible, professional security presence at high-profile events
- Control access points and verify credentials
- Conduct bag inspections and screening procedures
- Monitor crowds and identify potential safety concerns before they escalate
- De-escalate conflicts using sound judgment and professionalism
- Patrol assigned areas and complete detailed incident reports
- Coordinate with venue management, law enforcement, EMS, and event staff
- Respond quickly and effectively during emergencies
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
- Valid New York State Security Guard License
- F-04 Certificate of Fitness (Required)
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Reliable transportation throughout the NYC metropolitan area
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and short-notice assignments
Preferred:
- 4 years of security experience
- Experience in event security, hospitality security, corporate security, executive protection, or public safety
- Military or law enforcement background
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong situational awareness and report writing abilities

Compensation
- $20.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience and assignment
- Equivalent to $39,520–$49,920 annually based on full-time hours
