Knight’s Companies is seeking a Mixer Truck Driver to join our Jedburg team. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a ready-mix truck while delivering high-quality concrete products to our customers. This position plays a critical role in representing our company values, ensuring safety, and providing exceptional customer service on every delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Safely operate a concrete mixer truck in compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies
- Deliver concrete to job sites efficiently and accurately
- Inspect loads to ensure proper mix consistency and quality (slump, texture, color, etc.)
- Verify delivery instructions and job site locations before departing the plant
- Maintain communication with plant personnel and dispatch for delivery coordination
- Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional service at all times
- Complete required paperwork including delivery tickets, logs, and inspection reports
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on equipment
- Maintain truck cleanliness and perform minor maintenance as needed
- Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety standards
- Support plant operations and assist team members when needed

- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B) required
- Valid REAL ID in state of residence required
- Must be at least:
- 18 years of age for operations in South Carolina
- 21 years of age for operations in Georgia
- Minimum of one (1) year of CDL driving experience required
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), including:
- No DUI/DWI violations within the past five (5) years
- No more than three (3) moving violations within the past three (3) years
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Lowcountry: Charleston/Jedburg/St. George/Moncks Corner
- Midlands: Columbia/Lexington/Irmo/Blythewood/Lugoff/Sumter
- South: Hampton/Beaufort/Okatie/Richmond Hill/Savannah
