Attorney

Role Description The Attorney role is a full-time, on-site position, based St. Louis, MO. The Attorney will manage a caseload of civil litigation matters, including premises liability, car accidents, first-party property disputes, insurance disputes, and construction disputes. The Attorney will be involved in case evaluation, legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence. The Attorney will collaborate with colleagues and paralegals to prepare for trial, develop litigation strategies, and ensure timely and accurate case progression. The role also involves communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance representatives, and maintaining detailed documentation and compliance with firm and court deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a firm practicing civil litigation preferred.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar admission in Missouri, or eligibility for prompt admission. Illinois bar admission is a perk.
• Ability to provide clear, practical legal advice to clients and stakeholders.
• Proficient in legal research, including case law, statutes, and regulatory analysis.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, including drafting and courtroom presentation.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
• Comfort working on-site in a collaborative team environment and engaging directly with clients.
• Prior experience in insurance defense, transportation, construction, personal injury litigation is preferred.
