- Responsibilities to support activities for an emerging simulation and training capability for the United States Army.
- The candidate will support test and evaluation activities to include development of test procedures, supporting the execution of test and evaluation events, create/conduct new equipment training, perform hardware and software analysis, and troubleshoot across complex military systems.
- Essential Job Functions: Candidates will support the design, creation and execution of hardware/software test cases, scenarios, and procedures that incorporates the use of a variety of software applications and tools.
- Assists in defining integration and testing processes and procedures. Performs unit testing, configuration item and system level tests, and supports verification/validation testing as required.
- Develops test plans and test reports for all levels of testing performed.
- Works closely with the leads, development staff and systems engineers to thoroughly understand the system requirements and hardware/software implementation.
- Works closely with leadership to identify and define testing strategies and plan resources to ensure adequate assets are in place for all testing activities.
- Analyzes test results, metrics and trends and provides feedback to development and systems engineers.
- Assist the product support team in the creation and maintenance of system training documentation, as well as the conduct of new equipment training.
- Former U.S. Army or Marine Corps Infantry, Artillery, Cavalry etc.
- Must be able to take initiative, communicate with team members, and identify and resolve potential issues.
- Translate technical objectives into user level requirements and training/Human Factor related criteria.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools
- Travel is required.
- Must be comfortable lifting up to 75 pounds.
- An Active Secret Clearance.
- Experience as a military instructor.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent additional relevant experience preferred.
- Squad/Platoon/Company level tactical and leadership experience on required platform.
- Regular travel is required to support testing and training activities at various locations.
