Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Crew Member/Shift Leader to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop leadership skills while providing exceptional customer service. As a key team member, you will oversee daily operations, ensure food safety standards are met, and support team members in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
• Operate POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
• Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, addressing guest inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
• Assist with cashiering duties, including processing transactions accurately and upselling menu items to enhance sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas following food safety guidelines.
• Manage inventory levels, restock supplies, and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed.
• Support team members with food preparation, bussing tables, and general restaurant operations.
• Train new staff on POS systems, food safety protocols, and customer service standards.
• Uphold sanitation standards and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Assist in managing shift operations, including opening and closing procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or retail environments such as grocery stores or cafes is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations.
• Leadership qualities to support team collaboration and motivate staff as a shift leader.
• Experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants is advantageous.
• Basic kitchen experience or culinary background is desirable but not required.

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
