CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

ABOUT US
Knee's Electrical Service is a third-generation, family-owned electrical company based in Marion, Indiana. We have served homeowners here since 1971, and today we cover Marion, Muncie, Kokomo and Warsaw. We specialize in residential electrical service and repair, and we are an authorized Generac standby generator dealer.

THE OPPORTUNITY
Our Customer Service Representative is the first voice our customers hear, and it is one of the most important roles in the company.
You will begin on the phones, booking service appointments for homeowners. As you learn the business, the role grows — into dispatch, and into greater responsibility from there.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Answer incoming calls and book service appointments for homeowners
Gather the details our technicians need before they arrive
Book the schedule well, so our crews stay productive and our customers are served on time
Follow up with customers and keep them informed throughout the day
Maintain accurate records in our scheduling system

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Genuine care for people. Most customers call us when something has gone wrong, and some are frustrated by the time they reach us. We are looking for someone who stays warm and steady.
- Strong communication. You are easy to talk with, and you listen well.
- Attention to detail and dependable follow-through.
- Initiative. Someone who sees the bigger picture, speaks up when something is not working, and makes the whole team better.
- Comfort with computers. This one matters. You will spend your day in our scheduling software, and you need to be genuinely at ease on a computer.
- Ability to learn and adapt. Our systems and our processes change as we grow. We need someone who picks things up quickly and adjusts without friction.

PAY AND BENEFITS
- $18–$23 per hour, based on experience
- 401(k) with a 3% company match
- Minimum two weeks of paid time off
- Six paid holidays
- Paid training
- Advancement into dispatch and beyond
- Monday-Friday 8-5
