Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our packagingmanufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining,troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment to ensure safe andefficient plant operations. This role is critical to minimizing downtime and supportingproduction goals.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing and packagingequipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Repair production machinery, conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and relatedequipment.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production issues.
Install, modify, and upgrade manufacturing equipment as needed.
Complete maintenance work orders and maintain accurate records.
Conduct routine inspections to identify potential equipment failures.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and maintenanceprocedures.
Assist with facility maintenance projects and general plant upkeep.
Collaborate with production teams to maximize equipment performance and efficiency.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degreepreferred.
2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Experience with packaging equipment is preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Basic welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise, machinery, and
varying temperatures.
Pay: $27.00 - $40.00 per hour
