About the Role:
As our Maintenance Planner, you will turn reliability strategy into action by building precise job plans, coordinating parts and people, and driving schedule compliance so our team can execute work safely, efficiently, and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Put safety first in every plan and procedure; incorporate safe work practices into all job plans.
- Review SAP PM notifications for accuracy and clarity; translate requests into well-scoped work orders.
- Plan all non-emergency maintenance in SAP (labor, craft hours, permits, parts reservations, and external services).
- Build and maintain a robust library of standard job plans to improve quality and repeatability.
- Own PM program effectiveness in SAP: create new PMs, refine existing PMs, and update based on RCA/RCM/defect elimination findings.
- Standardize Oven Clean Out (OCO) activities; automate order creation, parts reservations, and PRs in SAP.
- Maintain accurate equipment records: BOMs, functional locations, and equipment structures.
- Lead the weekly Planning & Scheduling meeting with Production and Process colleagues to align priorities and resources.
- Manage spare parts refurbishment workflows and order non-stock parts as needed; create new SAP part numbers when required.
- Monitor and manage the planned backlog; ensure a steady, ready-to-execute weekly schedule.
- Partner with Stores to improve spare-part availability, kitting, and asset management practices.
- Analyze maintenance data, create reports, and support reliability KPIs (schedule compliance, wrench time, and backlog health).
- Support major rebuilds and projects with detailed maintenance plans.
- Champion the maintenance business process and serve as the site SAP PM lead.
- Contribute to Continuous Improvement, Lean, and Lean Six Sigma initiatives.
- Drive the highest levels of employee retention and engagement to ensure a sustainable workforce.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the organization.

Education:
- Associate’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum seven (7) years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with CMMS (SAP PM strongly preferred).
- Deep knowledge of standard maintenance practices, codes, and regulations.
- Proven ability to plan work that reduces delays and improves quality and productivity.
- Strong collaboration skills; able to partner with Maintenance, Production, Stores, and Engineering colleagues.
- Organized, analytical, and proactive with solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced setting with shifting priorities; strong time management.
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to work extended hours when needed to support the operation.
