Knapp Valley Gardens is seeking enthusiastic, personable, and hardworking individuals to join our Garden Center team for the upcoming season!
Position Overview
This is a seasonal position (April–October) in a customer-focused garden center environment. Team members play a key role in assisting customers and maintaining the quality and appearance of our plant material and retail space.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with plant selection and general inquiries
- Operate the cash register and process transactions
- Take phone orders and provide helpful, accurate information
- Perform general plant care including watering, weeding, deadheading, and pruning
- Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive store and outdoor sales area
- Stock inventory and assist with product merchandising
- Help create and maintain seasonal displays
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of plant identification (perennials, shrubs, and trees) and plant care
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- Basic computer and phone skills
- Availability to work Saturdays (closed Sundays)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
