The Installation Manager is responsible for following the processes and instructions accordingly to the Field Operations Department’s assigned tasks in a successful manner. Success is measured based on project quality, duration and costs. The Installation Manager is responsible for development and training of mechanical and electrical supervisors/techni- cians as well as mechanical and electrical installation contractors. This position supports field supervisors on all issues during the installation. Responsibilities include gathering data from job sites, assigning supervisors/technicians to job sites and scheduling and approving travel plans for supervisors/technicians assigned.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Review, assess and encourage team members to improve their technical knowledge and skills and to solve problems actively on their own
- Weekly and daily meetings with field operations crew
- Schedule team members to optimize the success of projects, particularly based on the qualifications of the team members
- Continuous progress monitoring of the project’s reports assigned to him/her, escala- tions in case of deviances
- Frequent communication to team members at customers sites and in house
- Provide regular status updates to upper management
- Technical and qualitative review of project reports from team members, forwarding to upper management
- Evaluate and revise execution plans
- Leads kick off and post installation meetings
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety guidelines with field technicians, supervi- sors, and QA managers
- Initiate actions and check to achieve the goal of a project
- Collect data from field operations from all projects and report to upper management
- Organizing and implementing training for team members
- Writing and maintaining installation documents
- Monitor assigned open points and tasks
- Interface with different departments
- Final review of projects by schedule, costs and quality with field technicians, supervi- sors, and QA managers
- Organizing training for field operations technicians
- QA record keeping
- Coordination with headquarters regarding installation, process, products and quality
- Provide project updates and training to supervisors and technicians
- Assist annual review with all team members

- 3 years' experience on-site management or supervision of installations within a rele- vant industry
- 1 years’ experience with Knapp equipment/systems
- Ability to communicate clearly verbally, clear concise writing skills
- Capability to work independently without daily supervision.
- Entrepreneur with character, driven, goal oriented with a desire to take ownership in the quality of the installation
- Strong time management & organizational skills:
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and assignments
- Ability to plan effectively using different tools
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical conveyor and shuttle systems
- Exposure to a networked environment using a Windows and/or Windows like interface
- Proficient in the Microsoft office suite with focus on: Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Knapp procedures and processes
- Overtime, if required by work.
- Construction site attire
- Physical requirement: Sitting, stooping, bending, visual acuity, finger dexterity, walk- ing, lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Travel required up to 25%
