WHAT YOU GET TO DO
The Trade Compliance Analyst II is responsible for managing key trade compliance activities with a focus on valuation, supplier engagement, audit support, and process improvement. This role serves as a critical bridge between Trade Compliance, suppliers, and internal functions, ensuring accurate customs reporting, strong internal controls, and alignment with regulatory requirements.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Perform Bill of Materials (BOM) analysis to validate declared values and identify risk areas
- Support new product introductions (NPI) by ensuring proper setup of valuation, classification, and country of origin data
- Identify and manage Post Summary Corrections (PSCs) and support post-entry audit activities
- Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs valuation regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with customs brokers and internal teams to ensure accurate and compliant entry filings
- Address discrepancies and improve data flow between suppliers, brokers, and internal systems
- Contribute to development and maintenance of internal procedures and compliance documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce risk, and increase efficiency across trade operations
- Support additional trade compliance programs as assigned
WHAT YOU HAVE
- 3–5 years of trade compliance experience
- Strong background in valuation and audit processes
- Knowledge of HTS classification
- Analytical mindset with detail orientation
- Experience with import data and financial reconciliation
Working Conditions and Environment:
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Passport or ability to obtain passport
- Professional office etiquette is required at all times
- Travel required 10%
- Sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, speaking, listening, reaching at arm’s length, and lifting up to 20 pounds
