What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Coordinator position at Knapheide Truck Equipment?
Knapheide Truck Equipment Center in Longmont, CO is looking to hire a Purchasing Coordinator to coordinate the supply chain, assure that material is brought in on time at the least possible cost, and resolve issues that require parts to be returned. This full-time position works Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; additional overtime as needed or required.

What you'll be doing:
- Assure that all material is available to support production
- Manage backordered material, purchase order generation, acknowledgment receipt, and the return of material back to vendors as needed
- Reconcile A/P and purchase orders
- Maintain parts pricing
- Set stocking levels for high volume parts and seasonal parts
- Address material quality issues with vendors, procure replacement parts and dispose of defective product in accordance with the vendor's policies
- Manage the inbound and outbound logistics of inventory to control cost and delivery dates
- Assist with identifying parts that are needed for more complicated jobs. Work with the vendor base to identify new products
- Manage vendor relationships to assure optimal quality, cost and delivery of incoming material
Experience you'll need:
- Previous experience in material planning, order entry, and or inventory control
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds
