What Will You Get To Do:
Drive profitable sales growth, increase market share, and lead account management activities within assigned Retail channel
- Identify business changes and trends caused by five key triggers: Technology, the Culture, the Economy, Customers Lives, and the Competition.
- Create prioritized list of specific growth opportunities to be considered for assigned accounts
- Evaluate anticipated business change opportunities, market information, and competitive data.
- Review customer needs, challenges, product opportunities, and growth potential.
- Scrutinize account P&L performance down to the SKU level and evaluate against plan.
- Regularly research, analyze, and recommend innovation opportunities.
- Ask customers what needs or problems could be addressed through innovative products and services
- Prepare and deliver retailer-specific presentations for new products, line reviews, promotions, etc.
- Execute new product launches, planogram updates, price increases, and SKU rationalization.
- Seek out and lead category captain roles at key accounts.
- Resolve customer service issues and provide solutions to customer needs.
- Prepare for and professionally represent KV at customer and industry trade shows.
- Partner with KV teams to gain and maintain proficiency in these areas:
- Sales process & CRM (with Sales & Cust Service: Salesforce, Oracle, Custom apps)
- Business tools (with Finance: Office, PowerBI, Vena, Proformas, Intranet, Dayforce)
- Communication tools (with IT: Outlook, Webex/Zoom/Teams, Jabber, Cisco, iPhone)
- Product and technical knowledge (with Product Management)
- Market research and competitive assessments (with Channel Marketing)
What Will You Bring:
- 5 years of selling in the Retail Channel in addition to having experience with account managemet
- Bachelors Degree in Business or Marketing, or comparable experience
- Previous experience with BI tools, ERP system, proficiency in CRM platform and MS Office
