• Note: Associate degrees are not accepted
Experience equivalency:
o 5 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree
o 2 years of experience with a Master's degree
o PhD may substitute for some experience

• Ability to survey literature and convert research papers into production implementations

Key Contributions to Work Group
• Software development focused on positioning and localization
• Collaborate to prototype and productionize algorithms enabling autonomous & semiautonomous systems to localize robustly within their environment
• Estimate absolute position and altitude, as well as relative position to terrain features and static/mobile equipment
• Implement filters using perception-based, inertial, and GNSS inputs
• Participate in all development phases: design, documentation, coding, quality, and validation
• Research and design localization algorithms and software
• Develop production-quality C software including design, documentation, coding, validation, and functional safety support
• Contribute to requirements generation and architecture design for localization
