What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machinist Setup/Operator position at KN Machine and Tool Inc.?
CNC machinist ready to operate CNC lathes or mills by programming, setting, and running machines for manufacturing complex parts with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Read and understand the drawings.
- Understand the job traveler.
- must know how to operate different controls (ex. Fanuc)
- Select proper fixture and tools for machining.
- Set up and run the CNC machines. Inspect machined tools and components per customer requirements
- Work with quality inspector to maintain quality management system per AS9100 and ISO9001
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- minimum high school education
- 5 years experience in manufacturing environment
- Must be able to read blueprints Including GD&T.
