Role Description
The Warehouse Coordinator is a full-time, on-site position based in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving incoming materials, verifying shipments, and organizing stock in designated locations. The Warehouse Coordinator will monitor inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and ensure accurate inventory records in the system. Day-to-day tasks include picking, packing, and staging materials and equipment for installation teams, maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment, and coordinating shipments with carriers and internal stakeholders. The role also involves communicating with purchasing, project management, and field technicians to ensure timely availability of products and materials needed for security installations.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Shipping & Receiving, with experience verifying orders, processing documentation, and coordinating inbound and outbound freight.
- Proficiency in Inventory Control and Inventory Management, including cycle counting, stock rotation, and maintaining accurate records in inventory software.
- Experience with Material Handling, including safe use of pallet jacks, carts, and related equipment, and adherence to safety procedures.
- Effective Communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and carriers, and for documenting warehouse activities clearly.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work with attention to detail in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory or ERP systems and standard office applications.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior warehouse or logistics experience in construction, electrical, or security industries is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move materials safely in line with job requirements and company safety standards.
