Position Summary / Objective:
The Junior IT Engineer and Helpdesk Specialist - Administrator will assist in day-to-day operations maintaining the KMS network and information systems, as well as provide direct end-user support both remote and in-person. This employee would be responsible for new user creation and termination of users. Additionally, this user would be responsible for hardware provisioning tied to deployment and returns along with employee onboarding and offboarding.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
The typical workday is eight hours in length. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, with concurrence from the supervisor. Attendance at prescheduled mandatory meetings is required. Must be available during the core work hours as determined by your contract/location and must account for the required number of hours in a pay period to maintain Full-time status.
Telework:
This position will do local travel as needed in the DMV area.

- Experience administering & troubleshooting an O365 pure-cloud environment including but not limited to Azure AD, Microsoft Intune, Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook.
- Experience administering Microsoft Sentinel Threat Analysis.
- Experience administering Threatlocker.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune MDM.
- Experience with End User IT Support in a Microsoft-focused environment.
- Experience with basic virtualization, Windows System Administration, and general Network Administration.
- Knowledge of OS and application patching.
- General understanding of Cybersecurity concepts and best practices.
- Ability to perform end-to-end troubleshooting of issues, where an issue may lie anywhere between the end user and what the end-user is interacting with.
- Desire to learn and integrate into a team environment.
- Previous Customer Service experience preferred.
- Previous Helpdesk Support experience preferred.
- Previous Asset Management experience preferred.
- 1-3 years related experience
- Able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance (or higher).
