Responsibilities
Assist in managing property operations, including leasing, rent collection, and maintenance coordination.
Support the preparation and enforcement of lease or rental agreements, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws such as Fair Housing regulations and Landlord-tenant law.
Utilize property management software such as buldium to update records, process payments, and generate reports efficiently.
Coordinate property inspections, maintenance requests, and vendor relationships to uphold property standards and tenant satisfaction.
Handle client communication with professionalism via phone, email, and in-person interactions; resolve conflicts promptly using effective conflict management skills.
Assist with budgeting activities, tracking expenses, and preparing financial reports to ensure fiscal responsibility.
Maintain accurate filing systems for legal documents, contracts, tenant records, and other administrative files; ensure data entry accuracy and confidentiality.
Skills
Proficiency in property management tools including Yardi, OneSite, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
Strong knowledge of legal administrative procedures related to lease agreements, contracts, and Fair Housing regulations.
Experience with Section 8 housing programs and LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) compliance.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client relationship management and upselling opportunities.
Ability to negotiate lease terms effectively while maintaining compliance with all relevant laws.
Solid understanding of property maintenance processes and facilities management practices.
Exceptional organizational skills for data entry, filing, and managing multiple priorities efficiently.
Team management experience is preferred to support collaborative efforts across departments.
Competence in Microsoft Office Suite for report writing, correspondence, and presentations.
Office experience combined with strong phone etiquette ensures professional communication at all times.
