KMM is seeking an experienced telecommunications Project Manager for work in our Jurupa Valley or Stockton locations. The Project Manager is responsible for the safe, high‑quality, on‑time, and on‑budget delivery of wireless, fiber, and related civil infrastructure projects throughout the California market. This role provides leadership and oversight to internal crews and subcontractors, ensures compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, and drives successful execution across all assigned construction projects.
This position requires a California Class A General Engineering Contractor License.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure safe, on‑time, high‑quality, and on‑budget delivery of construction projects within the California market.
- Provide management, oversight, and direction to internal Tower, Civil, and Fiber crews, as well as assigned subcontractors.
- Evaluate construction feasibility, including timelines, resource planning, staging, access, and overall budget alignment.
- Conduct bid walks and site surveys to assess site conditions, prepare cost estimates, and review scopes of work.
- Inspect work during and after completion to ensure compliance with company and customer standards.
- Review, red‑line, and provide feedback on construction drawings.
- Coordinate with local and state municipalities to file, pull, and close required project permits.
- Provide detailed project status updates, performance metrics, and reporting to the internal Project Team.
- Enforce all company, customer, and industry safety and quality control requirements; ensure field crews adhere to the same.
- Train, direct, and support field personnel to ensure effective and efficient task completion.
- Maintain equipment and vehicles in clean, safe, and operational condition.
- Interact professionally with customer representatives and external stakeholders.
- Support the growth and development of the California market team and contribute to strengthening the company brand.
Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Active California Class A General Engineering Contractor License (Class A Contractor License) is required.
- Background in wireless telecommunications, fiber construction, civil construction, or related infrastructure fields strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of project management and construction‑related experience preferred (willing to consider candidates with less experience depending on overall fit).
- Must be flexible to work out of market when required based on project locations.
- Weekend and evening work may be required depending on project demands.
