KMM Group is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to support our fast-paced precision manufacturing operation. This role is critical to ensuring materials, components, and finished products move accurately and efficiently through our facility and to our customers.

π§What You'll Do
Shipping & Receiving
Receive incoming materials, purchased parts, and outside service work
Verify counts, paperwork, certifications, and packing slips
Process receipts into our ERP system (training provided)
Package and prepare outgoing shipments to customers and suppliers
Utilize UPS, FedEx, and other shipping systems
Scan and organize certifications and receiving documentation
Maintain shipping supplies and inventory
Production Support
Support shop floor operations as directed by the Shipping & Receiving Lead or Supervisor
Assist with moving materials throughout the facility
Operate a forklift (training available)
Perform local company van deliveries as needed
Help facilitate workflow between departments to support on-time delivery
Additional Responsibilities
Greet customers and visitors entering the facility
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Work closely with Quality, Operations, Machining, Grinding, and Project Management teams
Follow company quality and safety procedures

Required
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to read and follow work instructions and shipping documentation
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Preferred
3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Shipping and receiving experience
Experience with UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, or similar software
Forklift experience or certification
Lean Manufacturing experience
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout a manufacturing facility for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Ability to safely handle materials and packages of varying sizes
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and support shop floor operations
