Role Description The Hotel General Manager-Residence Inn Kansas City Area is a full-time, on-site role based in Kansas City, MO. This position is responsible for overseeing all hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure an excellent guest experience. The General Manager manages the hotel’s budget, revenue strategies, and cost controls while maintaining brand standards and regulatory compliance. Daily responsibilities include leading and coaching the team, handling guest concerns, reviewing performance metrics, coordinating with corporate and ownership representatives, and driving continuous improvement in service quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in General Management and Business Management, including leadership, strategic planning, and operational oversight.
- Strong Customer Service abilities with a focus on guest satisfaction, conflict resolution, and effective communication.
- Experience with Budgeting, revenue management, and financial reporting to support profitability and cost control.
- Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, including service standards, inventory management, and basic health and safety practices.
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality management, preferably in an extended-stay or select-service environment.
- Ability to lead diverse teams, delegate effectively, and foster a positive, inclusive work culture.
