Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in land surveying principles and practices, with proficiency in various surveying technologies and software. This role is essential for ensuring accurate data collection and analysis for construction projects, property boundaries, and land development.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct land surveys to determine property boundaries, topography, and site conditions.
  • Utilize advanced surveying equipment such as GPS, 3D scanners, and Trimble for precise measurements.
  • Prepare detailed schematics and maps using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Carlson, Revit, and MicroStation.
  • Perform data collection and analysis to support civil engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to provide accurate survey information for construction plans.
  • Execute ALTA surveys and other specialized survey types as required.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of survey results and methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards throughout the surveying process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in mathematical concepts including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and drafting skills.
  • Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) such as ArcGIS.
  • Familiarity with land surveying techniques and equipment.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate data interpretation.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on various projects.

Pay: $50,609.91 - $60,949.57 per year
