Summary
The Creative Content & Digital Marketing Specialist supports the execution of marketing campaigns by creating and managing digital content across social media, email, and web platforms. This role reports to the Senior Account Manager for Strategy and Communications to implement client strategies and works closely with the Creative Director and Marketing Production and Communications Manager to ensure all content aligns with brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Social Media
- Develop and schedule social media content across multiple accounts and platforms
- Write captions and short-form copy
- Create basic graphics (Canva or similar)
- Assist with content calendars
Photo & Video Content
- Capture and edit photo/video content (as needed)
- Produce short-form video (Reels, TikTok, etc.)
- Maintain organized media libraries
Email Marketing (eNews)
- Build and format email campaigns
- Write and edit content
- Manage distribution and basic performance tracking
Website Content & Updates
- Update website content (CMS-based)
- Assist with landing pages or blog posts
- Ensure content accuracy and consistency
Campaign Support & Execution
- Execute digital components of marketing plans
- Monitor engagement and basic analytics
- Support reporting with data collection
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field
- 1 – 3 years of experience in marketing, communications or agency experience
- Experience in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Basic understanding of social media scheduling platforms (Heyorca, Hootsuite, Sprout or similar)
- Basic understanding of email marketing tools (Mailchimp or similar)
- Basic design tools (Canva, Adobe)
- Excellent written and editing skills
- Basic video editing experience (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush/Pro, etc.)
- Basic understanding of WordPress, SEO and digital platforms
- Basic understanding of project management tools (Asana or similar)
- Experience tracking social media and web analytics
- Organization and time management
