Electrical Apprentice (Registered)

KMC Electric is seeking Registered Electrical Apprentices to join our team and gain hands-on experience in multifamily and commercial electrical construction. This role is designed for individuals who are actively developing their skills under the guidance of licensed electricians.
The Electrical Apprentice supports licensed electricians in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems while developing technical skills and gaining practical experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of electrical systems in new construction projects
• Support rough-in and finish work, including pulling wire and installing conduit
• Assist with installation of electrical panels, fixtures, and components
• Maintain tools, materials, and job site organization
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Learn to read blueprints and electrical diagrams
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Minimum Qualifications

• Active registration in a recognized electrical apprenticeship program (required)
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and tools preferred
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in various positions throughout the day
• Ability to work in active construction environments and varying weather conditions

Work Environment

• Indoor and outdoor construction job sites
• Travel may be required depending on project needs
• Overtime may be available
