Wea re working with our client, Thayer, LLC in seeking mechanically skilled Project Sales Representatives to support our commercial HVAC/R and building services projects across New England. This role combines sales, project management, customer service, and technical problem-solving.

Requirements of the Project Sales Representative:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction or engineering preferred.
• 5 years of relevant trade experience, licensed HVAC technician, mechanical engineering and/or design work experience.
• 5 years of hands-on construction project management overseeing trade-specific work.
• Experience qualifying prospects and conducting effective sales presentations.
• Ability to report to office in Auburn, Maine daily.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required.
• OSHA certification, EPA license, or Maine/NH gas, oil, or plumbing licenses preferred.

Responsibilities of the Project Sales Representative:

• Build customer relationships across multiple markets and conduct site visits to evaluate needs.
• Develop scopes of work, estimates, and proposals and present solutions to customers.
• Manage projects from start to finish, including scheduling, budgeting, materials, vendors, subcontractors, and job site oversight.
• Survey mechanical systems, identify problems and propose solutions in a timely manner.
• Identifies prospects in assigned market. Promptly follow up on leads and referrals.
• Maintain an active backlog of quotes to ensure booking goal is consistently met.
