KM BUILDERS is a luxury residential remodeling company built on one belief: Design the Experience; Experience the Design. We partner with homeowners across San Antonio to transform their homes into timeless, heirloom-quality spaces, and we're looking for a Mid-Level Architectural Designer to help bring that vision to life.
About the Role
You'll work closely with our design and construction teams from Site Assessment through Design Presentation, translating client goals into architectural drawings that are both beautiful and buildable. This is a full-time, on-site role based in San Antonio.
What You'll Do
- Develop architectural plans, elevations, and construction documents for high-end residential remodels
- Conduct and support site assessments to ensure design feasibility
- Collaborate with the estimating and construction teams to keep designs on budget and on schedule
- Prepare and present design concepts to clients during Design Phase and Design Presentation meetings
- Coordinate with structural engineers, consultants, and trade partners as needed
- Maintain accurate, detailed drawing sets throughout each project's lifecycle
What You Bring
- 3-5 years of experience in architectural design, ideally in residential remodeling or custom homes
- Proficiency in Revit required
- A strong eye for classic, timeless design; you understand what makes a space feel warm and heirloom, not trendy
- Ability to manage multiple projects with sharp attention to detail
- A collaborative mindset and genuine care for the client experience
