You'll play a critical role in ensuring projects are accurate before production begins-and stay on track once they hit the floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and redline blueprints, cut lists, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Serve as the final checkpoint before jobs enter production
- Interpret weld symbols and WPS requirements
- Identify errors, inconsistencies, and constructability issues
- Work directly with welders and fabricators to resolve issues in real time
- Support production flow from planning through fabrication and delivery
- Communicate with production, QA/QC, and management teams
- Help maintain quality standards and on-time delivery
- 1–3 years in manufacturing, fabrication, or production
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Knowledge of welding processes (GMAW) and fabrication methods preferred
- Familiarity with AWS D1.1 and/or AISC standards is a plus
- Experience with CAD, Excel, or production software preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Comfortable working both at a desk and on the shop floor
- Mix of office and production floor work
- Frequent standing/walking and interaction with shop employees
- Hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing environment
