Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, lobbies, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and techniques such as buffing and floor care procedures
- Conduct custodial tasks including trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold hygiene standards
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, fixtures, and other surfaces to ensure a pristine environment
- Execute industrial cleaning duties in warehouses or manufacturing areas as needed
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to management
- Use commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively to maximize efficiency and quality of work
- Support porters or custodial teams during busy periods or special cleaning projects
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing
- Experience with residential painting or general facilities maintenance is a plus
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and equipment operation required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
