Security Guard – Klutch Cannabis

Position Summary
Security Guards serve as the first point of contact for customers, safeguard our facilities, and support day-to-day operations. The role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong focus on safety, customer service, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a visible and professional security presence at dispensary entrances and throughout the facility.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to ensure continuous coverage.
• Control access to restricted areas, verifying IDs and maintaining visitor and vendor logs.
• Conduct regular patrols of interior and exterior areas to detect security or safety risks.
• Support store operations by assisting with product deliveries, cash handling escorts, and customer flow management.
• De-escalate difficult situations with professionalism; intervene only when necessary to protect safety.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, following company procedures.
• Maintain accurate, timely incident reports and security documentation.
• Collaborate with managers, staff, and law enforcement as needed to ensure a safe environment.
• Deliver excellent customer service while enforcing company policies and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for an Ohio Department of Cannabis Control Employee Badge.
• Must meet all requirements for PISGS (Private Investigator & Security Guard Services) licensing.
• Previous security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in emergency situations.
