We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory
Administrator to be the backbone of our supply chain accuracy in Suwanee GA.
This is a possible temp to hire position.
This role is critical to maintaining the integrity of our
inventory, ensuring that products are correctly tracked, accounted for, and

Key Responsibilities
The Inventory Administrator is responsible for the overall
accuracy and reconciliation of inventory within the distribution center,
utilizing a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ERP software.
- Inventory
Accuracy & Control:
- Perform
daily cycle counts and periodic physical inventory audits of products in the warehouse.
- Research,
analyze, and resolve all inventory discrepancies, including shortages,
overages, and mislocated items.
- Process
and manage inventory adjustments, transfers, and product returns
accurately in the WMS.
- System
and Data Management:
- Maintain
accurate records of incoming and outgoing inventory transactions, product
codes, and locations in the WMS/ERP.
- Utilize barcode scanning systems and other technologies to ensure
real-time tracking accuracy.
- Generate
and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports and
metrics for management review.
- Operational
Support:
- Collaborate
closely with Receiving, Shipping, and Purchasing teams to address
inventory issues and streamline product flow.
- Assist
in setting and monitoring inventory thresholds and ensuring proper stock
rotation (FIFO).
- Troubleshoot
system issues related to inventory tracking and reporting.
Requirements
Required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control, inventory
administration, or a similar role, preferably in a distribution,
logistics, or warehouse environment.
- Technical
Proficiency: Strong proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems
(WMS) and/or ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.).
- Software
Skills: Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data analysis).
- Core
Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, strong numerical and analytical
skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates or bachelor’s degree in
supply chain or a related field is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability
to stand and walk for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
- Ability
to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
