Receiving Representative (33751)

Job Summary

Records and distributes incoming deliveries to the appropriate recipient, making note of any damages and alerting the proper personnel. Routes incoming shipments to the proper destination. Places orders to replenish receiving supplies and stores supplies in the designated location.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

• Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or packing slips to verify accuracy of incoming shipments.
• Contributes and assists with process improvement initiatives
• Assures receiving areas are kept in a clean, safe and orderly manner
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Educational and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Work experience in similar environment preferred
• Use of Microsoft Office applications
• Use of SAP preferred but not required

• Ability to retrieve and interpret documentation.
