KLR Executive Search Group is proud to partner with Chisholm Chisholm & Kilpatrick LTD (CCK) to recruit the firm’s newly created Senior Accountant. CCK is a mission-driven Public Interest law firm specializing in Veterans Law, long-term disability, ERISA, and Bequest Management, dedicated to delivering value-conscious, client-centered legal services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead key components of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
- Prepare journal entries and complex accruals in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist with timely, accurate financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Prepare account reconciliations, analyze variances, and resolve issues.
- Support annual audits by providing documentation and explanations.
- Strengthen internal controls and help maintain compliance.
- Optimize accounting systems and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of progressive accounting, audit, or finance experience (professional services a plus).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial statements, and accounting controls.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills; able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting/Finance.
Compensation & Benefits
- $75K–$85K salary, based on experience.
