Klover is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Design & Quality Specialist to join our team!


As a Design & Quality Specialist tech you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for curtainwall and load bearing wall panel structures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards. Design & Quality Specialist Responsibilities & Duties

Develop detailed drawings and plans for curtainwall and load bearing wall panel structures using Revit, Strucsoft MWF and other BIM based software.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders (client) to ensure accuracy, constructability and completeness of plans

Check and verify design calculations, specifications, and other technical documents

Ensure all work complies with industry standards, codes, and regulations

Communicate with clients and contractors to resolve technical issues and ensure timely completion of projects

Participate in the review and approval process for projects, making recommendations for improvements as needed


Design & Quality Specialist Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field

Proficiency in CAD software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or Strucsoft MWF

Strong understanding of building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations

Ability to understand/read Architectural, Structural, MEP drawings and shop drawings from other contractors

Experience with 3D modeling software

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Previous experience in the construction or steel fabrication industry

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field preferred

2-5 years of experience in steel detailing, or related experience in the construction or engineering industries

Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, welding, and construction methods

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Work Environment

The work environment will consist mainly of a normal, climate controlled, office environment. Periodic visitation to the prefabrication shop will be required.
