Job Summary
Responsible for the development of cost models and cost estimates for value-added processing opportunities. Will maintain and adjust cost models and pricing related to value-added contractual obligations. Will support the general sales effort for value-added processing.
Summary of Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
• Evaluation of value-added processing opportunities for compatibility
• Development and maintenance of cost-estimating tools for value-added process quoting
• Development of product and customer-specific quotes for value-added processing opportunities
• Maintenance of cost models and pricing programs for contractual value-added processing business
• Sales support
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree (BA) from a 4-year college or university
• 4 years related experience in the manufacturing industry
• 3 years experience in a processing-related cost development role
• Prior experience in a “soft tool” manufacturing environment
• Familiar with lasers, turret punches, and press brakes
